i bought this product a year and a half ago, and imidiatelly downgraded it from VISTA to HP. and in a store, where i bought it, they already told me that there were some problems with dowgrading - "finding-drivers problem" so now, i've just installed XP again, and i just have the same problems. i cannot find all the drivers. a friend helped me to find drivers for graphic card and usb and so on... but i just cant find drivers for audio - realtek's one. and also drivers for wireless... does anyone has this drivers or can anyone help me to find them. i've been already looking around for them, but it's impossible to find them. there were some old topics on some forums, and posted links are mostly not avaible anymore. so, i'd really appreciate this! or should i contact HP? but i doubt, cause i believe that this product must haveVISTA on it! ... thank you very much

Hi, 1. Write down Your p/n number which is under Your computer and looks like this. 2. Go to Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Devices Manager
Click with right button of Your mouse on each yellow sign and choose properties. Then go to bottom details and paste here device id. This way we will know what it is.
Below You've got example how to do it:

hey... thnx for reply! somehow i've just managed to install wireless drivers. so the only problem is audio card, i believe. but i probably made a mistake in "device manager". dont know how, but somehow i installed drivers for "audio device on high definition audio bus", which doesnt work at all and i cannot get rid of it. when i remove this from device manager - other device, and restart computer, they always return at the startup of xp as new found product. how can i get rid of it ? so i'm also not sure which audio card i have. i know i had some realtek drivers before that are typical for this notebook... :/ i also checked for the p/: GX450EAR#UU and the product is originally named as "dv9545eb", i think... sorry for any mistakes and just ask if anything's not clear yet, which i believe thank you!

Listen You don't need to install both MS-UAA files. You just need to install correct version. If You have XP with Service Pack 2 then You need to install only MS-UAA for SP2. If You have XP with Service Pack 3 then You need to install only MS-UAA for SP3. After this install realtek driver.
