This will take you to the Windows &amp;quot;Advanced Boot Options&amp;quot; menu.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Select &amp;quot;Repair Your Computer.&amp;quot; The Windows 7 Recovery Environment will load.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Select your keyboard layout from the drop-down box.&lt;br&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Log in using an administrator account, if necessary.       <description>&lt;p&gt;If you get an error about 'can't fixboot', then continue to the next step.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;Type bootrec /fixboot (with a space after bootrec) at the command prompt,tap the Enter key.&lt;br&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Type bootrec /RebuildBcd (with a space after bootrec) and tap Enter key.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;If this is not successful, it's likely that the disk is not recoverable and you will have to boot from Recovery Disks to reinstall windows.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

If you want to play around with other options while waiting for Recovery Disks to arrive, try burning a Windows 7 Rescue CD.  Download the ISO from here:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;a rel="nofollow" href="http://maximumpcguides.com/downloads/windows-7-64-bit-repair-disc.iso" target="_self"&gt;Windows 7 64bit&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Use an application capable of burning an ISO to cd such as &lt;a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download" target="_blank"&gt;ImgBurn&lt;/a&gt;  - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is &lt;a rel="nofollow" href="http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=61" target="_blank"&gt;Here&lt;/a&gt;.  Once created, boot from it and use the Command option for the commands I posted earlier.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
