DavidPK jumped in and offered to help. Over the next 6 days with over 40 posts, DavidPK was able to troubleshoot the problem and suggest a series of troubleshooting steps that eventually solved the problem.
In one of the final posts, GrandmaPatti gives the following praise to DavidPK.
"I HAVE SOUND!!!!!!!! I think in trying to solve the problem and returning to defaults ~ these somehow were altered. You will never know how very much I appreciate all your patient help!! You've taught me so much in the process!!! You've directed me to trouble shooting sites and processes I never knew existed!!!
