Hi,

I wonder why it is not possible to get a 3440 x 1440 @ 50 or 60 Hz resolution from the HP 2013 Ultraslim dock to a Dell

U3415W monitor over DisplayPort. I get no signal at all neither with a HP 820 G1 with HD4400 graphics nor a HP 840 G2 with Intel HD5500 graphics. Only if I connect the monitor directly to the DisplayPort on the side of the laptop, I get a signal (3440 x 1440 @ 50 Hz on HP 820 G1 and 3440 x 1440 @ 60 Hz on 840 G2).

Best regards
Thomas Gammelgaard Madsen

..so the conclusion must be, that HP Ultraslim Dock 2013 can not deliver the same resolution over DisplayPort as the build in DisplayPort can. Sad but it seems to be true.
