Elitebook 8570w

Hello! I recently received an 8570w with issues. I was told that it may have problems with the motherboard.
When I plug the charger (without battery) it powers on automatically: leds are on, cooler is on, display remains black (not even backlit). After a few seconds it stops and it starts again. I guess that if I leave it like that, it will repeat this over and over.
Does anyone encountered this issue? I also removed the bios battery (I thought it might help) nd RAMs, but no success.

The steps are different depending on if your battery is removable or not.

See http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01684768 for steps and videos that cover this easy first step.

If you are still having boot problems walk through the steps in the online troubleshooting documents here:
