ZBook Studio G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm using Zwift - a 3D bicycle training application on my ZBook Studio G3.

And often the Studio seems to drop the power after a while of usage. It usually takes 5 - 40 minutes of usage before this happens. The power is connected, but it seems to drop it for ~5 seconds before it comes back again. Then it seems to be connected again for ~10s before the power is dropped again. Etc. By dropping power I mean:

  • The screen goes dim.
  • The power indicator in the tray indicates battery usage.
  • The graphics is much slower.

Here is a clip of the power icon in the tray. You can se how it fluctuates back and forth. And you can see the screen dim down when "on battery": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bc0NZQ_TERo

When I exit Zwift the problem stops. When I start it again the problem is back. I have nothing more than the power connected.

I have Zwift configured to be using the NVIDIA in the NVIDIA control panel.

Yes! I have the latest 1.15 BIOS and latest NVIDIA driver and latest Intel Graphics driver and all other drivers updated.

I use Softpaq Download Manager.

There must be something very, very wrong here... Is there some kind of log I can collect?

I think I figured this one out. The power supply is bad. The other power supply I have does not cause these issues.
