You are right, The OS is XP service pack 3.

Thank you for your help. All of the devices are now working properly except the Ethernet Controller: when I tryed to install it, I got the following message:

"No Intel Networks connections found in this computer. No drivers were installed."

Please advice.

You're very welcome.

Sometimes the Intel driver that HP posts doesn't work.

This one directly from Intel will. First file listed is for 32 bit.

You have a great week too.

Glad you are up and running. (Assuming you can get to the network)...

Best, however, is to use the Softpaq Download Manager (www.hp.com/go/sdm) to install all available and needed updates for your systems. Just a note of caution to only select and update h/w driver and BIOS (needs to be done independent of any other updates) with SDM, a great tool that will not do the WRONG thing

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.
