Eliteone 800 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have trouble connecting the computer Displayport out to my external monitor. No video is detected.  Is there any special setting/software I need to enable this? This is using a direct DP to DP cable.

Hardware:

HP Eliteone 800 G2 with HD Graphics 530 on I5-6500

HP Proone 400 G2 with HD Graphics 530 on I3-6100

HP Elite Display E240q with Displayport input

Same problem when I connect the Displayport outputs from Eliteone or Proone to the E240q, both are on Windows 10 64bit. I have the latest HP bios, Intel graphics drivers.    All drivers are up to date.  The Intel control panel does not detect an external display other than the internal AIO touch display.  I did not find any setting in the BIOS or any Windows 10 Display control to enable the DP or alternate monitor.  How do I test the DP out on the computer is active?

I have verified that the E240q monitor DP and the DP cable are good with a Radeon graphics card DP output from another non-HP computer. Monitor video comes up immediately on this.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thx.

After troubleshooting this for 2 months, HP has determined that the DisplayPort of these AIO’s have problems driving some ultra high res (2K) monitors in the DP-DP connection.  Firmware fix is required to correct in BIOS.  However don’t expect any BIOS update any time soon for this.  For anyone who has similar issue, the DP to HDMI adaptor is required to drive your monitor HDMI input instead.  HP DP-DP don't always work.
