T610 Thin Client gets desktop frozen and blue screens (0xC000021A) and (0x000000F4) when rebooting

Hello,

We have a lot of new T610 Thin Clients, nearly 100, and I have several problems when they reboot.

They automatically reboot 3 times per day.

We have an image that works perfect on T5730 and T5740 Thin Clients, but not in the T610. The only difference is that in T610 automatically enters as administrator.

Some of them, randomly, get frozen when rebooting or I get a blue screen. Theses problems dissapears when I locally reboot them again pushing the button. But it usually appears again in another reboot. This doesnt happen in all of them, but on most of them.

0x000000F4 seems to be the power supply, but they are 100% new...

0xC000021A seems to be winlogon.exe, the autologin to Administrator I suppose...

These are pictures taken from the errors when rebooting T610.

Frozen desktop, it starts rebooting and get frozen like this:

Thi is the worst error, because if I get blue screen I can tell windows to automatically reboot, but when it freezes, I can do nothing and I have to locally reboot pushing the button..

Error 1:

Error 2:

Thank you very much.

Could you please explain why it would automatically boot into administrator's account on t610? What kind of customization have you done on this image?

Simply change autologin to Administrator should not lead to blue screen.

Have you tested with HP standard image? Does it boot into blue screen as well?

Re: T610 Thin Client gets desktop frozen and blue screens (0xC000021A) and (0x000000F4) when rebooti

Finally what I did is to auto reboot computer when blue screens appears, in "Setup and Recovery". And works fine.

But the problem stands on the frozen desktop, I cannot avoid that problem and I don't know why that happens.

Is there a watchdog timer ore similar in T610?

Thank you.

I have the same issue, i have about x20    T610 Thin Clients,  get random BSOD  0x000000f4 (0x00000003)

where do i find "setup and recovery" to automatically reboot the thin client when it occurs?

or better yet,  has a solution been found to eliminate the BSOD??

To automatically reboot computer when blue screen appears:

Right click on My Computer -> Properties -> Advanced -> Startup and Recovery -> Settings -> System failure -> Automatically restart

I haven't found the cause of the blue screen, but this avoids to keep the blue screen on the screen.

0x000000F4 - is usually caused by filesystem error or the drive is going bad. 0xC000021A is most likely the result of 0x000000F4. If you don't use write filter on a thin client, it's most likely that the drive is reaching its maximum life. Flash drive has a limited number of write tolerance.
