With regard to the Quadro cards in SLI - this appears to also be limited only to specific Quadro cards in particular Z workstation models, as per the Quickspecs and and 'HP Z Workstations graphics card options'.

 

Supposedly this works on a 'whitelist' basis - if your particular Quadro video card / workstation combo is certified / on the list you will be able to SLI, otherwise you are out of luck.
