 I recently purchased a desktop mini with wireless keyboard/mouse but there was no usb input device in with the packaging - could you tell me where in London I could purchase one? (DesktopMini product code : 826502-001), many thanks

The identification you provided is not standard or easy to use..... but I found a link that indicates your PC likely is a HP Pavilion 300-230 Mini Desktop PC.

 

Here is a quote from one of its manual, which may explain why you cannot find the physical interface for your keyboard and mouse: 

 

"NOTE: Depending on your computer model, the transceiver may be preinstalled in a USB port that is not visible from the outside of the computer."

The physical interface may be the HP Link 5 system with keyboard/mouse.  We have a few computers that use that and it works great..... there is an on/off switch on the bottom of the Link 5 mouse, and maybe the keyboard.  You may need to replace batteries, but try turning the devices on first if they are switched off.

reading the user guide to be able to connect the wireless keyboard/mouse by rebooting and pressin the F11 key does not seem to work.  Any further suggestions greatly apreciated?
