Is there a way to develop an app completely from scratch? Without any premade functions?

Hello,

Unfortunately no because any app that you create will have to "derivate" from an existing app, and all the existing apps do have some functions...

The simplest app that you can use as starting points are the explorers (trig is the one with the least number of functions/variables).

I am making a chess game on the Prime, would there be any way to use the app construct to be able to switch readily from Home to CAS to Settings(Symb) to Apps to the Game(Plot)?
