HP Prime - Serious new bugs in Advanced Graphing app.

[ Edited ]
Product Name: HP Prime
Operating System: Android 4.4 KitKat

The Advanced Graphing app has always been an excellent app, and it could plot virtually arbitrary relations between x and y.

It could also show the roots and intersections in its numeric view.

But now not anymore.

In version 11456 I see this:

Re: HP Prime - Serious new bugs in Advanced Graphing app.

Thanks! We're investigating.

It is most likely an interaction between the floating point code and various compiler/architecture settings. For example, it works fine on a samsung galaxy, pixel tablet/phone, but shows the same problem you see on my nexus 6p.

Re: HP Prime - Serious new bugs in Advanced Graphing app.

I have a Samsung Galaxy tab pro 8.4, Tim.

It surprises me a bit that it works well on a Pixel.

I would not be surprised for that reason if the previous version will be the best I will ever get on my present tablet.

Fortunately I made a backup, so I can restore it.
