Screen Freezes

Product Name: HP Prime v1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Prime Graphing Calculator

 

Software Version: 2014 3 31 (6030)

Hardware Version: A

CAS Version: 1.1.0-46

Help Edition: 2014 03

 

I've has a standing issue with my HP Prime that when you use the touch screen the calculator screen could freeze. Unfortunately, I have not been able to isolate the specific cause to this issue. However, to fix the calculator temporaraly, using the reset button seems to fix the problem most of the time (Sometimes, programs will not open to edit after the reset. This is usually fixed by going to home, turning the calculator off then on again, then pressing the reset button.

 

Is there any longer term solution to this issue?

Yes. Update your calcualtor. :-)

Where would I get the update? I tried getting it through the hp connectivity kit and it said it was up to date.
