hp 50g sin, cos and tan don't work

I just bought a 50g off craigslist and after a couple of days of using it I noticed that the sin cos and tan are really off. tan 45=1.62 but on my hp 35s it's =1 and on my other calculators say it's =1. please help I have no idea what i could even be doing wrong.
