In light of the recent release of Windows 7, HP not only announced today a new portfolio of PCs which take advantage of Windows 7, but also a range of dedicated support options to make the transition to the new operating system seamless for everyone. Check out some of the following special support services HP created for its Windows 7 customers specifically:
Windows 7 Experts Days – On Thursday, November 5th from 12:01 am to 11:59 pm eastern time, the HP Consumer Support Forum will bring together more than 50 experts such including HP's engineers, Symantec's security guru, Microsoft's Most Valuable Professionals, and key contributors to this Forum to answer questions and share tips to ensure you get the most out of Windows 7 and HP products.
Dedicated Consumer and Business Support Boards – Our own HP dedicated Windows 7 support boards where community members and HP employees have been exchanging tips and answers to Windows 7 support questions since June.
Dedicated Windows 7 Website – This dedicated website is available worldwide in 26 languages in order to make the transition easier for all. The site will feature a product finder with drop-down menu to guide customers straight to their product page and corresponding information on driver and software downloads.
HP Support Assistant – A part of Total Care services this simple software application comes pre-installed on Windows 7 PCs to maintain PC performance and resolve problems with automatic updates, tune-ups, onboard diagnostics and guided assistance.
Windows 7 Trained Agents and Dedicated Phone Lines – HP has also added additional resources to support centers including agents specially-trained on Windows 7. Advanced experts will also be on-site at key HP call centers to help troubleshoot and HP and Microsoft will be holding weekly meetings after the release to review customer feedback.
My role on the forum is to help make this experience the best. Please let me know if the forums aren't working as good as they should be.
