HP Designjet T520

This has only just started happening but when trying to print A3 portrait using the Tray this message appears

'Drawing xxx requires to be printed on 297mm but the printer is currently using 254mm. Please choose amonst these options - Change Paper - Print Anyway - Cancel Job.

Can you help please?

I don't know the answer to your question (I have no experience of DesignJet printers), so just a comment or so:

  • The size of A3 paper is 420 mm x 297 mm.
  • The only paper size I can find that has a dimension of 254 mm is the (old) Quarto size of 8" x 10" (= 203 mm x 254 mm).

Why is my reply pointless?

Your question stated that you were attempting to print on A3 paper (which does have a 297 mm dimension) but it appears that your printer only has paper with (one) dimension of 254 mm available at present.

If you want to print on A3, surely you need A3 paper available, or the source application needs to scale/reduce the image size if the only paper available is smaller.
