Product: T1530

HI,

 

We've just bought a DesignJet T1530 printer but we are facing an issue : Printer won't go to sleep mode ... and is very noisy (fans blowing)

 

We've set it up to 5 min, tried other durations w/o success.

 

Is anybody got a tweak ?

 

Thank you for your help.

 

firmware : MRY_04_02_00.5 (will try the last one but no indication about this issue in the release notes)

I've first tried to deactivate internet features without success.

 

So, I've updated firmware to MRY_04_04_00.4 and greatly appreciate printer now entering sleep mode.

Hi,

 

Disconnect the printer fron the network and test

If you have the same problem, do the following

 

- Update the firmware

- Do a EEROM Reset

- Do a HDD Recovery

- Test

 

Start making changes (if you are making any) one at the time

 

 

If you dont have the problem. something on your network is sending requests to the printer keeping it awake
