HP 1055cm Designjet
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All,

I have had my HP 1055cm for about 8 years and the hardrive failed.

I have had the drive removed for some time and can't remember the exact error.

I removed the drive and reformatted it as a last resort and its never worked since in the machine... which i think i have realised why.. apparantley it had an image on it?

Does anyone know how i can obtain this image or a new drive?

Any help would be appreciated.

thanks.

Hi Mikeg81,
Thanks for your reply.
Do you happen to know where I would get a new HDD from?
As I'm not sure what I'm buying a link to the correct one would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,

The part number is  C6075-69285 7.5GB hard disk drive - Includes the HDD, cables, and HDD bridge

Not sure were you could buy a new one.

Try doing an online search and look at the seller profile.

Best regards

Thanks Mikeg81,
I've located one online and after discussions with the seller they have stated:

After fitting new drive, and plug back in to mains then you may have to reset plotter "Factory reset" by means of pressing a key or combination of keys during start up or after start up and hold key down for few seconds to clear EEROM...

Do you know if this is right and do you know where the factory reset is as its not in the menu?
Thanks.
