Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have repeatedly tried to connect my designjet printer with my Windows machine, but the control panel where I view my printers keeps showing the designjet as "driver is unavailable", despite installing, unzipping, and viewing the driver on the Windows machine.

Is there a known issue with Windows 10 machines and the HP DesignJet t120 driver? I have seen this same issue on the boards before, but no real solutions yet.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Try instaling the following driver

http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/readIndex?sp4ts.oid=11176948&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4063

Before insgalling, make sure you remove the driver completely (Devices and printers, Server Properties, Registry), then reboot the computer.

Best regards

Thanks Mike but still no go. That is the same driver I installed previously (which came with plotter). Did the deletion of prior/reinstall of it again to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Hi,

Did you followed the steps under Instalations instructions?

Sorry, I should have shared this other link

Yes folowed instructons to the T.

Does this new driver supercede the other driver previously installed (i.e. do I need to delete the other driver previously installed)?

Thanks

Jim
