OfficeJet 7610
Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
Just got a new printer OfficeJet 7610 from a Friend but warranty is over. After insert the Setup Cartrige, and started the printing. Error shows - "Problem with Ink System - Remove Cartridges and Inspects for leaks. Do not use leaky cartridges. Re-install cartridge if ok. Turn printer off and on again"

I tried many methods, still the same error.

Is there any evidence of leaking ink inside the carriage?  You may need a flashlight to inspect.

Hi Hook, I checked and no leaking ink inside.

If there is no sign of leaking and you've tried re-booting the machine then all I can suggest is to take a look at the HP fourm for inkjet printers

and post your question there.  I just finished fixing an OfficeJet 7612 which I think is almost identical to the 7610 but was lucky that it was just a loosely insterted ink cartridge, so my experience is pretty limited with those printers.  I did research the problem on the Inkjet community and found several references to ink supply system problems.  Do a search over there for 7610 and you'll get a bunch of hits.

Let me know what you find out.  Very interested.

Found this over there:

Be aware the printheads are not serviceable by the user on the 7610 or 7612.  (HP suggests you take it in for service.  Could be easier said than done.)  The part is available though.  All four printheads come as one part, from what I've been able to find out.  And there's no service manual that I've found for the printer out there.   Let me know if you happen to come across one.
