Officejet 7500A E910
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have an Officejet 7500A E910.  I printed a beautiful 11 x17 photo and the printer worked just fine.  After the printer had completed this job I printed a document and the black came out streaked and almost non-existant on the page.  I did a clean and that did nothing.  Nothing was wrong with the cartridges (all were full).  Still replaced a few that showed half.  This too did nothing.  After hours of trying to get the printer to print I gave up and ordered a new print head.

I installed the new head and when finished I let the printer do whatever it needed.  The following error came up:  0xC19A0013.  I have cleaned everything I can think of.  The cartridges are new.  Extreme care was used in replacing the printhead.  No matter what I have done seems to make any difference.  The printer keeps telling me that it cannot recognize the new printhead which is a CN643A_kit I ordered from HP.  If anyone can assist me on why the printer will not recognize the new head I would appreciate it.

My wife had that same printer and the printhead started doing the same thing, especially after printing photos.  But I think she let the cartridges get too low and got air in the system somewhere.  You might want to send the printhead back to HP for a replacement.  I assume you're using HP ink.

If you go to the top of this page and hover over "Support", then select "Forums" from the drop down menu,  then go to the search box just below the printer pictures and type in that error message you will get a long list of similar issues from other owners.  You might find a similar problem that will give you a solution.  If not, you might want to post the problem in the Ink Jet area of this forum since your post will be more widely read by other users of that model printer.

While there are some HP employees who visit the board regularly, most members are owners like you and I who post up problems/solutions for other members to help solve the issues.  If you find a solution, please come back and post it up so others can benefit.

Thanks!

Hi Dakota12,

I believe you have installed a new replacement kits and it still not working but giving error code of 0xC19A0013.

May i suggest you try to uninstall all cartridges (Black, Cyan,Magenta, Yellow) then uninstall the printhead.

Using a cloth that soak with hot water, gentle and carefully rub bottom of the printhead in long dimension and one way motion, where the colors are printing out. Hopefully this help to clean the printhead clog ink when place back into printer.

A printhead ordered from HP would have a warranty, see the document here for printhead warranty information.
