800 ps
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Please forgive me if this subject has been broached many times, but...

My school has jusr acquired a used plotter (designjet 800 ps). I need to be able to set the print size in accordance with the paper size which is proving difficult.

How do I set up the printer? - I have tried many times to select the correct printer size paper from within printer properties, but no cigar.

As far as I understand, the properties need to be changed from within (eg when I print from f.eks Word and / or Excelbut I cannot get the machine to print on the whole paper size - help

Thanks

Tim

Make sure the plotter is selected as the default printer on the computer. Then when you open lets say word, go to page layout and then size and you should be able to choose the size you want and then when you go to print again in the driver choose the correct size.
