If your montior has a HDMI input then you can connect it to the computer using a HDMI cable. If your monitor's resolution is 1920 x 1080 then the computer will output the display in the monitor's native resolution of 1920 x 1080. If the monitor has speakers and they are internally connected to the HDMI input and you you adjust the sound settings for HMDI, then maybe you will get sound on your monitor.
