Avermedia H789 TV tuner stopped working.

The Avermedia TV tuner that came with my computer (HP p6045) when I bought it has stopped working. It has completely disappeared from device manager.

 

It once came back, but remote control didn't work and there was a "Device cannot start - code 10" message in "Avermedia Consumer Infrared Receiver".

 

Now, the TV tuner and the infrared receiver have disappeared completely again.

 

The computer came with Windows Vista but I have upgraded it to 7. I doubt the problem is about Windows 7 because the TV tuner problems started few months after the upgrade.
