Hello,
I recently bought a HP Z1 AIO workstation. It does not have a Blu Ray DVD player. Now I would like to connect it with an external DVD player.
Is the Z1 compatible with every Blu Ray DVD player (e.g. Samsung BS-ES6000E) and wich port do I have to use : the 'Display port' to connect with a HDMI cable, or a USB port ?
Thanks !
Gunther

I never thought about using a Z1 as a display :-)
The dp seems to be a in- and output port.
But 'normally' you can't get hdmi signals to work with a dp input.
You should search for a player with dp output.

I know, but once in a while I like to see a good movie, and it's a great screen (and we have an old TV), so why not use it....
