Blue and purple lines down screen

Hello I have a HP w2338h 23" monitor that I have had since September 2009. About two weeks ago, a purple/pink line showed up for no reason down the right side of the screen. I tried resetting the monitor, resetting the drivers and unplugging and plugging it back in. Now after I turned it on today there is a blue line about an inch to the right of the purple line. I am currently buying the monitor from Aarons Rent to Own and they told me before they can do anything, that HP had to decide wether or not it's a problem with the monitor. So if someone could help me with this issue I would appreciate it.

Mod, here are the Display Quality Issues section for the monitor.  The entry titled 'Several colored vertical lines in the display' may help you solve your problem.
