Hi,
Microsoft has removed few apps in Windows 10. Can you see CD/DVD contents under Files/Windows Explorer ? If yes you can use other software to play CD/DVD. The following free software will play nearly all media files/formats:
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-windows.html
Please download and install on your computer.
Regards.

I upgraded to window 10. DVD stopped working.
Your fix Resolution 5 worked. Had to go into
HKEY_Local_Machine\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\atapi
as you requested. Made changes and saved. Re-booted.
Insurted A- CD the the drive came alive.....
Thanks!
