DVI-D to 2 analog monitors

I purchased desktop Model HP Pro 3500 Series M/T  and 2 HP LV1911 monitors with the intention of running a dual monitor configuration. (extended not mirror).  The monitors only have VGA in. I am assuming they are Analog. The Desktop has 1 VGA out and 1 DVI-D out.  I am operating one monitor VGA to VGA but what cable connections do I need to do to get the second monitor to operate?

Re: DVI-D to 2 analog monitors

Hi,

Your best bet is to install a discrete video card that is equipped with two DVI-I ports and then use two DVI-I to VGA adapters. This EVGA 610 should work. The 610 is not a performance video card.

If you run into boot issues with the video card then review the below HP posted article.
