Failed sound card driver

I have a 3 year old Pavilion s3230 desktop and operating system is Windows XP Professional. My sound card driver has failed - have checked device manager and have the dreaded yellow ? next to where my driiver should be. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain a download from.
