Hi
I bought an HP p6320uk computer a few weeks ago. The graphics card, that I inderstand is an ATI Radeon HD 5450 (1Gb) has an HDMI and DVI outputs. If I look at the spec for that card on the internet there is also a VGA output. Why is that missing from the card I have?
Next question: There is a VGA output that is blanked off and is separate from the ATI card. Is there anyway to get that working?
Next: I bought a Sony TV/monitor to use with the HDMI slot and, whilst it is good for video and photos, text in Excel and Word looks terrible. I have two perfectly good VGA monitors that I would like to use alongside the Sony monitor. Is there any way of doing that with the current set-up?
Finally, if I bought a new ATI Radeon 5450 card that has the three outputs could I use that and the existing ATI card at the same time to achieve my three monitor set-up.
Apologies for so many questions. I am using 64bit Windows 7 if that information helps.
Thanks in advance.
Charles

You can't use the on board video when a discrete graphics card is installed. This is the motherboard for your PC.
HP has it's own specifications for video cards and manufacturers do have variations of the same card.
Only one (1) video slot in your PC so only one video card.
ATI EyeInfinity should work with the ATI HD 5450 to support multiple monitors.

After plugging in both monitors...
With cursor on the desktop right click
click the top link to Catalyst Control Center
left click Graphics at top task bar
see Detect Displays and click
afterwards, both monitors should show up with 1 and 2 being designated
right click on the display to configure (resolution, colors etc)
thereafter you have to decide if you want to duplicate displays or expand them ...
Good luck
