Green vertical line???

I dropped my hp laptop the other day and when I turned it on today it had this green vertical line on the monitor. Does anyone know what this is from and how much moola it would cost to fix it?

When they get dropped, all bets are off. Hard to say what the problem may be, all you can do is have a shop take a look at it now, sorry!?
