HP 2009m problems

I bought 2 monitors from HP ( HP 2009m 20 inches) on May 2009 and they have worked beautiful except one just seems to have some problems yesterday. One monitor keeps going black every 30 seconds and last for about 10 seconds with a message "check cable video" on the screen. Other monitor works fine. I don't know what is wrong with this one. All my cables are fine. Please help.

Re: HP 2009m problems

Rich, did you try connecting the monitor that isn't working properly to the other connector?  It may be that the connector is faulty.  Also, clean the air vents on the monitor.

Re: HP 2009m problems

I did connected it to other PC and it happens the same thing. I have 2 monitors that I bought at the same time and the same type. One is working fine and the other is not. I tried everything switching between them with different PC's but that one still does not work.

Does any body know what is the good way to contact HP? should I contact them by phone or email for the problem? which phone number ? I want to send this monitor back to HP for fixing. I think it still have manufactory warranty because I bought it less than a year.

Thanks.

Rich, here is a link to HP online Customer Service.  I fully agree with your idea to contact them to get it repaired before the waranty runs out.
