HP 2709m 27" HD LCD Monitor makes clicking noise

My new monitor came in a bundle with a PC and is fantastic in every respect except one.  Ever since I've had it (about two weeks) I have noticed a clicking sound coming from the back of the monitor.  I have turned the volume on the monitor itself all the way down (I don't use the monitor's speakers) but this does not resolve the issue.  It's a dull, clicking sound that is intermittent and does not occur when the monitor is turned off or asleep.  It sounds something like you'd expect from heat expansion on metal or something along those lines.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Medebe, since this is a new monitor, I suggest contacting HP Customer Service.  This is not a normal sound for a monitor to make at any time.  From what I have read on the forum, most recommend using the online chat for quick answers to your problem.

Looks you have a HDMI cable problem
