HP Beats Audio

I just bought a new HP touchsmart and one of the programs listed in Start is:   HP Beats Audio.  When I click on the icon, the message is CANNOT FIND .STARTUP FILE.  Same message when I do a search and click on that icon and when I try to open with Control Panel.  When I check the directories, there are lots of files in this program.  So why won't it start and what can I do?  I tried Recovering the program, but HP Beats Audio is not listed.  Thanks.

Hi,

 

Try using Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio Driver ( this should also reinstall the Beats Audio interface ).

 

After the reinstallation has completed, restart the PC.
