I bought a bunch of parts and confused two power cords. One is rated 250v and the other is rated 125v. Which one belongs to the HP monitor?? Any confirmation would be highly appreciated.

Hi,
What is the power/voltage in your area ? Probably you have to use that one.
Regards.

All of the computer cords should be rated for 300 volts. The fine print on the cord should have a manufacturer's name, temperature rating, voltage rating, ul/csa listing number, cord type, wire guage, and number of conductors. Most round computer power cords should be type SVT which means service rated vacuum cleaner cord, PVC thermoplastic insulated and jacketed rated 300 volts, typically 16 AWG or 18 AWG, and two or three conductors. Flat cords will have a different cord type but the voltage rating should still be 300 volts.
