I am using w2448hc which i bought about 5 months ago with 1920x1200 (@60Hz) resolution driven by powercolor ATI 4870 vga card via HDMI cable (DVD to HDMI converter). I notice flickering on my monitor. Anybody knows why? I thought LCD not suppose to flicker even though it is only 60Hz?
Anybody can help?

1920 x 1200 is a high resolution setting - above the best resolution for HD TV currently in todays consumer market (1080p - being thought of as the best). What this means is that you are more susceptible to flicker due to signal degredation.
You say you are using an adapter - try to get rid of it if possible. The monitor should support both HDMI and DVI-D. You should connect a DVI-D cable from the card to the monitor - also, if you can, use a shorter cable length.
