Is my PC HD compatible?

So I recently bought an HP S2331a monitor, which is HD. I was wondering if my PC hardware would play HD images if I plugged the monitor with an HDMI link.

Here are my specs:

processor: Phenom II X4 940 - 3 GHz, cache L3 6 MB, socket AM2+ 

mb: GA-MA78GM-US2H - Socket AM2+/AM2 - Chipset AMD 780G/SB700 - Micro ATX

graphics card: Radeon HD 4850 Vapor-X - 1 GB DDR3 - PCI-Express 2.0

Hi,

More than that, the machine should be able to use full HD (res: 1920 x 1080) monitors.
