LCD TV won't recognize HDMI From my dv4

I have an HP  Pavilion dv4 64-bit Operating System , i recently plugged my laptop to my my TV and it wont connect  anymore ! i will always use this to use my tv as a monitor, it wasn't until 3 days ago when it stopped working it says no signal ! it would usually connect automatically and i tried to do it manually too but it just won't work , the tv searches for signal then a message is display saying that theres no signal ! I tried to use a different HDMI and i wont work either and i know is not the tv because i have my XBOX 360 connected through the HDMI and it does work ! im thinking is the video driver but im not an expert so im asking for BIG HELP here! Thank you!!!

No, i couldn't find what was wrong with it! i thought it was one of the microsoft updates that messed with the video driver but i recently had and update for some of my computer erros but no luck with hdmi problem, i tried to to do it manually through the control panel I also tried doing it through the shorcut fn+f4 and nothing , my roomate has the exact same laptop and on his it does work so its not the cable its the HDMI ! Do you have the same problem !?
