I have the wake-up problem with my Dell Optiplex 960 (with integrated Intel video) running 64-bit Windows Vista for Business. I think the DisplayPort implementation on this LP2475w is just plain buggy. Here's a troubleshooting note telling you to try doing a factory reset to get it to accept the video signal: Advisory: HP LP2475w 24-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor - Display May Remain Blank After Startup If Usin...

I gave up on the integrated Intel Q45 video in my Dell Optiplex 960 (running 64-bit Vista). Instead, I bought an NVIDIA card. It works reliably, with one exception: if the LP2475w is powered off when the system wakes from sleep mode, the system hangs. The monitor shows "No Signal", I can't log in via Remote Desktop, and the system won't go back to sleep on its own anymore. I think that's a driver/system issue, not a monitor issue, though.
CURRENT ALMOST-WORKING CONFIGURATION:
NVIDIA Quadro NVS 295 (PNY VCQ295NVS-X16-PB low-profile PCIx16 dual DisplayPort add-in card)
NVIDIA driver 186.18

same problem: having a radeon 9800 XT and WinXP ... all updated BIOS, ChipSet, ATI drivers, ....,
but NOT so with a radeon 4800 series Win Vista Ulitmate ... all updated, too.
BOTH systems attached to the SAME LP2475w unit using DVI-DVI. I can switch cables, DVI ports ... it's always the same one whose signal isn't found after switching: the one of the radeon 9800 XT. The other one (4800 series) is always ok.
but I SUCCESSFULLY tried with other monitors, too (e.g. an older HP LP23xx)
I played with ati settings in catalyst. Being clueless I called HP support, who instantly sent a spare part of LP2475w, but it behaves the same odd way: not finding that 9800 XT's signal once switching away and back again or after power safety.
next steps I do:
- I will try the profile switch trick from this forum now.

I use a nettop (fitpc2) with an intel gma500 and have exactly the same problem with the newest intel drivers (2009-12-03). If I use the drivers from compulabs it doesn't have this problem.

I have this problem on a couple HP Z600 running RHEL 5 Desktop with NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800 cards. I've flashed the latest BIOS to the machine and graphics card and am running the latest 190.53 driver from NVidia. Anyone have a fix other that resetting the monitor?

I have reached standby after changing my screensaver. 3D jobs are especially prone to trouble.
