I would like to upgrade my monitor. I was thinking of a HP 2211x21.5 LED. My computer is a HP Pavillion p6210y with Windows 7. I have a ViewSonic VA902b now, which I would like to use on an old Dell that I have. A friend gave me the computer, and he installed a NVDIA GeForce 9400GT video card.
I'm not very computer literate, but does anyone see a problem?

Hi,
Off hand I don't see and problem depending on the make and model of the video card. Some of the NVIDIA GT 9400 video cards require a 350 watt power supply and your PC is spec'd with a 300 watt power supply which could be an issue.
A possible issue is that the p6210y has a motherboard with a bad history. You might be OK then maybe not. You might ask your friend is the PC has any history of having issues.
Be sure to use a DVI cable and don't use any adapters.

Thanks very much, Big Dave. I don't think he's had any problems with the card, he just upgraded his whole system and did not want this computer any more. Thanks again.
