Something weird is happening on my monitor. It start off like a black and red thumbprint bottom right corner over the time. Its growing. Now it totally covers the time and is into the screen, and is all black and still looks like a thumb.

What's up with this? Any one know???

Re: Monitor

Hewlett Packard S2031. Now there are little things growing on the bottom of the task bar in the middle. Same things. The big one seems to have quit growing. Do you think moisture is getting in there from the humidity?

Thankjs for replying. I didnt' know how to get back at you.

Re: Monitor

It's DVI. I looked at the articles. Nothing there that seems to be the problem.

I really do thank you again for your trouble. If you think of anything else, would appreciate it.

Re: Monitor

pgc,

Hold down the monitor's power button for 30-60 seconds. Then power up the monitor, go into the monitor's menu and do a factory reset. If it's still not working correctly then unplug the monitor for 5 minutes and then plug it back in and give it a go.
