Re: My monitor displays "no input signal"

You need to update the video card driver.. Here is the link for your computer p6313w  video card . The link is Video card driver link

On the page click on Agree and Download , and on the pop up click on Save and Save the file on Desktop.

After we get the file on Desktop, Right click on the Downloaded file , and select "Run As Admin" or " Run ".

And Install the driver on the computer, and when installation is completed Restart the computer to Apply the Changes..

It will resolve the issue U had.

Re: My monitor displays "no input signal"

Help! I have a HP pavilion elite m9080n with a nvidia 8800GTS video card installed. I have the same problem when the PCI video card is installed I get no signal msg on my monitor and no boot up screen into hp bios or the windows log on screen when I turn the computer on. It all started a few days ago when after the computer went to sleep, it would not wake up. I've had no problems ever since I purchased this computer but I did buy a refurb. I restarted the comp and then nothing from there. I have tried a few things to fix the problem while searching this forum and many others. I have a dual monitor setup with LCD monitor as main and my tv as a second extended display. Here in order is the steps I've taken so far: 1. Checked the cables and monitor with my laptop and they work fine. 2. Took out the nvidia 8800GTS dual dvi video card and went to local big box store and bought a new video card and installed it but had the same problem (no signal) so I returned the card. 3. Took all the peripherals and cables out of mobo and tried to use just the mobo with onboard intel gma3100 and still no video plus i lost power for a while bc I must have not reinstalled the necessary cables back into mobo. 4. Cleared the CMOS by removing the battery and resetting the jumpers among other suggestions like unplugging the power supply and holding down the power button for 30 seconds. 5. Reinstalled all the cables and peripherals except the video card using the onboard intel gma3100 video and the computer booted up to hp bios screen and then into windows. Went into bios and checked the settings and it all seems to be in order and the CMOS was reset to factory defaults. 6. I reinstalled the video card and then the same problem of no signal on my monitor. The fan on the video card starts up when I turn on the computer. Also the plastic clip for video card was broken the first time I removed the video card. 7. Read that there might be a problem with 15 in1 media reader and to disconnect the cable from mobo from readers end and restart then reattach and restart(by the way it was a pain in the ass to disconnect and to reconnect). Still no signal msg on my monitor. The problem I'm trying to figure out is is it the video card or the motherboard that is the cause of no video. Or is it something else. I want the dual monitor setup so that my son can watch online videos and such on the tv and the graphics are so much better with a discreet video card. I already ordered a replacement motherboard from eBay thinking that was the problem but I don't want to open it if the mobo isn't the problem. I don't want to spend too much to fix it so I'm trying to do it myself and can't afford a new computer right now. Please help, any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your support

Re: My monitor displays "no input signal"

So here it goes. I have an Intel Pentium 4 processor; 512mb DDR SDRAM memory; 120gb Ultra DMA Hard Drive; NIVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 AGP 8x graphics card with 64mb DDR memory and TV-out; HP Pavilion a250n with windows XP.   My problem is as follows:   I had internet minimized and was playing minecraft on my desktop at the same time. When all of a sudden my minecraft screen went black and then turned blue with a lot of exception codes and such. First thing I did was turn off my computer and reboot. Then the HP screen came up and then a black screen that kept repeating insert floppy.......like 20 times, then insert cd drive...next the screen went to a no signal screen and a second later my monitor went off from blue on light to orange light, and the pc still running. So I rebooted again and pc came on, fans running, lights....but my monitor said no signal again and went to orange. Also my keyboard flashed on then off, mouse was on. I then turned all off and unplugged everything: power plug and all that attached to hard drive. I waited 30 minutes and tried and nothing different. Then I tried dusting everthing and hooked up another keyboard/power cord and no change. Is there anything else I can try to do? I have so many files/games/photos/an more that I can not lose. If it has crashed I have to be able to recover all I had at least.  Even if I had a restore cd I would lose everything..and I can not afford to do that. Last question is if I took it in would they be able to transfer everything on hard drive to a thumb/pin/flash drive to put on another computer? Thanks so much.

Re: My monitor displays "no input signal"

Hi,

first - you should open your own thread, and it doesn't looks like it's a monitor problem.
It looks like a hard disk problem - can you test it in another pc?
Or bring it to an it professional who can test and/or backup it.
