NVIDIA 8400GS and NVLDDMKN error issue resolved-NVIDIA chipsets or connections likely fail!

Thanks to the great folks in this forum, I have my computer working again. Went through every single testings proceedure, driver update, etc. and still got the blue and yellow lines, freezes etc. Talked to NVIDIA and their fixes did not help. Took the suggestion in this forum and purchased a Best Buy $100 9500GT card, installed it and voila, everything is fine and memory benchmarking went from 1.0 to 5.0!

 

Can't thank you guys enough for posting your frustrations and assistance. I would love to see NVIDIA rebate some or all of the upgrade cost as well as looking into the chips or the board connectons failure. That would be the right thing to do and could keep me as a future customer.

:smileysad:I had to chunk my hp dv6000 provillion because of this issue above,rams I tryed get hp help but crashed right after got new hard drive. NIVIDIA chip

now have a professional 5000 hp compaq 2008 and don't need this crash again. Im having bad freezing up on windows.

can you help me on reason?
