New HP H8XT Can't play any video games

Good system specs. other then the crappy video card. That and having no ssd is holding the system back. I would definetly get a better card for 1080p gaming. A 7950 would be a excellent choice if you want to stay with AMD. If you want to go Nvidia. GTX 670 would be a wise choice.

Sounds like a faulty card to me. Also OP if you can. Use DVI (digital). VGA is old school and a analog signal. Also. HP will not give you a upgrade to a 7950. You would have to send back the pc and re-order it with that option.
