No Sound HP P6404Y---Windows 7 64 Bit

Help me please. I have tried all of the tools and still no luck. I have loaded drivers for audio and done the trouble shooting.
what is the next step?

Hi

 

You have a couple of options as I see it.

 

Please First check if the speaker icon on the unit is not muted.

Go to device manager and uninstall the driver and restart and unit will install the driver automatically.

Try doing System restore to the date when the unit was working fine.

Try to update the driver from hp.com website for Audio & Bios.

Last step is to run a recovery on the unit before this please back ups your data.

If still does not work speaker on the unit has gone bad needs to be replaced.

If your Unit is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange to have the speaker replaced.
