Pavilion 500-205t DT (Memphis-S) PC U -- Product F9A61AV#ABA

I am having issues setting up dual monitors. The monitors are HP W2072a - graphics card is Intel HD 4600 - Win 7 Home Premium 64 is the OS.

I bought DVI-D cables and spilter aftermarket. The monitor(s) do not detect DVI signal. I can hook-up VGA and both monitors work however they are the same desktop. The DVI cables are 24 pin as are PC and monitor.

At one point the DVI signal was detected and working, however I can't seem to get it back.

The product stated it was dual monitor supported - hopfully it can be resolved or am I missing something.

Respectfully,

Jeff

[ Edited ]

Here are the specs of the Memphis-S motherboard. According to the specs, the motherboard has one (1) VGA <analog only> output and one (1) DVI-D <digital only> output as shown below;

Image of the back I/O ports

4 - VGA <analog only>                  5 - DVI-D <digital only>

Your HP W2072a LED backlit LCD monitors support both VGA and DVI-D inputs and need to be connected as follows (use no adapters or splitters);

Computer ---> DVI-D cable ---> Monitor #1

Computer ---> VGA cable ---> Monitor #2
