Problem with HP w1907

My monitor has power but during start up the screen goes blank. I connected the monitor to other CPU's and used another cable and it's still doing the same thing. Is it a case with the power supply?

Hi,

 

Try a monitor reset. Unplug the monitor’s power cord and hold down the monitor’s power button for 30-60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and power it up.

 

Be sure to native native cables without using adapters. Test both VGA and DVI ports on the monitor.

 

If you can't get the monitor to work with known good cables on another PC with known good video ports then the monitor is faulty.
