Hi, I am trying to setup two monitors on a HP Pavilion a1110n
The computer specifications are here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docnam
I need to know what type of graphics card to buy and which one would be the best one to buy and still be compatible with this computer.
The both monitors have a VGA connection/connector.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Whoo, there are two main things to consider. 1.) What is the wattage of the power supply unit (PSU)? I am guessing that it is 250W. 2.) What is the maximum resolution of both monitors? It is best if they both have the same resolution because, if not, you will have to run at the lower resolution.
You can check the wattage of your PSU by opening the case and carefully reading the label on it. I say carefully, because there will be several entries on the label. You want to know the sustained power. If it is 250W, then you are definitely limited as to the video card that you can install. Regardless of the wattage, you will have to buy a PCI video card (not AGP or PCIE).
Here are some links to cards that should work for you:

The above card says that it requires a minimum of 300W. You can always try it to see if it works if your PSU is 250W. Manufacturers overrate the power requirements of their cards to protect themselves.

These are the only cards that I could find that should work for you. The other brands are not reliable. You should always read the reviews on the sites. They will give you some good information.
One other thought. If you are still running your computer with 512MB of memory, I highly recommend that you upgrade to at least 1GB and 2GB would be better.

Whoo, here is a link to Microsoft's website and a very good guide to setting up a multiple monitor system:

Good luck!
