The monitor is a HP 2710M. I am running Windows 7 with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX - 1.2 - EVGA Superclocked video card. I have had the monitor for about one year and use it only for Microsoft flight simulator. This problem just start a week ago. I have re-downloaded the drivers, tried all the screen adjustments on the monitor and in MS Windows. The monitor is used sparingly and not abused. What is the problem?

Either it's not fitting properly in the ports or a cable inside is broken?
